Towering over Paris

The day following my first encounter & teary-eyed meeting with the Eiffel Tower from the Champ de Mars, I was thrilled to return with my ticket & ascend to the top!

Elevator UP! I grabbed a glass of champagne at the top & soaked up the sights. The view of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower is absolutely breathtaking! The river Seine, Notre Dame de Paris, The Arc de Triomphe, the Sacré-Cœur Basilica high atop Montmartre... you can see it all!

The Eiffel Tower... where do I start!? I've dreamed of being in the presence of this majestic structure since I was a little girl & when the day arrived to finally lay my eyes on the real Eiffel Tower, even I was surprised by my reaction... TEARS!?!

As soon as I arrived in Paris, I wanted to wander!! I quickly surveyed my charming room at Du Petit Moulin Hotel, ditched my luggage & hit the Parisian streets...

Our last night in Stockholm, we were invited out to one of the coolest restaurants I've ever experienced & that also happens to don one of the least creative names: Grill! Maybe they exhausted their creative thinking designing the interior decor of this place or maybe they wanted an unassuming name in front of such an elaborately thought out restaurant... either way, it's a win! Every section has a different theme: circus, Italy, Versailles, Moulin Rouge, etc., & the food is divine! It's certainly an experience I highly recommend. :)
