In my experience, a bad hair day usually calls for a headband... especially when you're forced to tame bangs. I added the silver & black printed tank to match with a black sheer cover/vest to dress it up. I then chose my long gray skirt in fitting with the already dressier/comfy ensemble.

This ensemble is an example of my tendency to mix dark shades of black/gray with feminine textures & colors (ie: flower earrings, pearl bracelets & white nail-polish)... I'm fond of the girly edge!

In my opinion, a brown + black color combo works... & I used my feathered headband with that palette, as today's template.
