A summery eyelet top over blue jeans with a touch of sparkle here & there. Uncooperative hair? No problem, just add a cool hat!

San Francisco in a word: tremendous! Yes, it rained half of the time; which does hideous wonders for my naturally curly hair & the chilly temperatures forced me to cover up almost every one of my well planned ensembles with my black pea-coat but it certainly didn't (figuratively) rain on my very excited parade! It was my 1st time ever in San Francisco & I had a ball!! The shopping, the old (& sometimes very dramatic & ornate) architecture, the city living surrounded by lush hills & parks, the trolley transportation, the gorgeous water & views of the bay... San Francisco is so perfectly: New York meets west coast, I loved it! Airplane: I wore a lightweight, black racer-back tunic over a black tank top, black/gray leggings & gray boots. (No photo) :( Day #1 in S.F: I wore a gray off the shoulder top, black leggings & gray boots. The gray boots were handy & a favorite of mine during the trip, as they didn't ruin if water (or rain) was present. The first photo (above) displays the ensemble with my coat, as well as the photo below... along with a photo capturing the top, accessories & my humidity styled hair. Day #2 in S.F: I wore a gray sweater over black leggings & black suede ankle boots. This was the only day I banished my coat to the hotel room... & then quickly regretted it (you'll notice the gloves, scarf & maybe even goosebumps in the photos below)! Day #3 in S.F: I wore a black & blue striped top over black skinny jeans & black suede ankle boots. *You'll notice I wore a lot of black (& gray) during my trip & in explanation, not only is it a significant staple in my wardrobe but I believe, always a safe & chic fashion choice* So, if you're going to San Francisco... check the forecast before packing, take lots of pictures, soak in the breathtaking architecture & beautiful bay views, get ready to do some walking & of course... be sure to wear some flowers in your hair! ;)

It's true, I'm back! & San Francisco was a m a z i n g!!! I took photos as promised but thanks to the dreary weather, wrapped myself in my black pea-coat most of the time, which warmly & yet unfortunately masked every ensemble... but there are worse things than having to don a chic jacket. ;) I'll share my San Francisco photos with you soon! Until then... Today I welcomed the sun back onto my skin with:

• an H&M tunic (with a black tank worn underneath)
• Black leggings
• Black ballet flats
• Jewelry: Black retro hoop earrings & a very large black rose ring!

Today's ensemble was easy... I started with the tunic, letting that be my 'center of attention' statement piece, framed it with nothing but black (leggings, flats, accessories) & voilà! Cute, comfy, cool!

Today I decided to push the envelope & allow a little color... I decided on an off the shoulder, baby blue tunic with silver & gray detail. I added a dark gray tank-top underneath & paired them over light gray leggings. I decided the leggings were too light a shade, cut too short & just overall too casual in appearance to wear with flats, so I added the gray boots to dress up my look. The sparkly bracelets brought out the silver detail on the tunic & the earrings matched the gray throughout. PS. Please ignore my super curly bangs... they refused to cooperate today. ;)
